I can't thank Lori (and partner/hubby) enough for the incredible work she did with my dog, Kilo, a Pitbull Bully with some SERIOUS reactivity issues. Before bringing him in for training, walks were a nightmare. I was constantly on edge, knowing the potential damage he could do if he reacted poorly. I dreaded passing one dog, let alone multiple!
Originally, Kilo was supposed to stay with Lori for just three weeks, but she quickly realized he needed more time. She wasn't comfortable sending him home until she knew he was truly ready, so what started as a three-week stay turned into five weeks of dedicated training.
And honestly, those extra two weeks made all the difference. Lori didn't just train Kilo--she completely transformed him. When she brought him home, Lori took the time to show me exactly what to do and, more importantly, how to really listen to Kilo.
On our first walk together, we actually encountered a loose dog--something I had always dreaded. But thanks to Lori's training, Kilo stayed calm, and I saw firsthand just how much he had improved. It was a huge relief to see how well he handled the situation, knowing what could have happened before.
Now, we can go anywhere without worry--whether it's a busy park or a quiet neighborhood. I have total confidence that Kilo can handle it, and that's all because of Lori.
If you have a reactive dog, especially one as strong and powerful as a K, Lori is the trainer you need. Her dedication, patience, and expertise are truly unmatched. I couldn't be happier with the results, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone struggling with a reactive dog.

Lori was so amazing for our fearful reactive dog, Bandit. He's always had terrible leash manners and been hard to manage when people come over. We recently had a baby which has made it all the more difficult. We heard about Lori through a coworker and how she helped his dog. She was amazing with our boy! You can tell she took the time to get him to trust her and then to help him unlearn bad habits while building his confidence for more appropriate behaviors. She sent updates and pictures throughout. He needed a little extra time which Lori provided for no extra fee. We really appreciated her seeing him through and not sending him home till she thought he was ready. He made such an improvement through this training. He does great sitting in his place and not rushing when people come over. He is quiet if packages are delivered while baby is asleep, and if we say leave it he drops whatever he has. Lori checked in multiple times after we brought him home and gave us guidance on anything we needed to help him. They let us know if we need anything we can reach out and they also offer boarding where they'll touch up any training things while he's there which we will be taking advantage of. Bandit is so much more confident since attending this course and less anxious. Highly recommend Paws Learn in Paradise. You can tell how much they love animals and want to help your fur baby be the best they can be.

Lori has changed our lives! I am in tears as I write this, because I never thought we could get here. She trained my 10 year old cane corso to stop being aggressive towards unknown people and pets. Since our dog was 10 weeks old, we had completed many training programs. Other than her stubbornness, we were okay until she was attacked by other dogs at a dog park when she was 4, and was anxious and aggressive towards new people and pets. We kept attempting training, and she even has her own dog psychiatrist! We gave up and just kept her more isolated to avoid potential problems. Which was unfortunate. Then, we found Lori. Lori boarded and trained our CC for a little over a month. I will note that she kept our dog extra days to make 100% certain that she was ready to go home. When she came home, she was calm, happy, obedient and looked to us for direction, rather than her calling all of the shots. She no longer pulls on the leash on walks, does recall better, no longer barks when the doorbell is rung and does not panic when meeting new people. Lori also taught us ways to continue to foster our dog's behavior to have the ability to meet new people, and it has been life changing. We are no longer nervous when we have company and can now travel more because she provides boarding care. Our CC is more integrated into our lives because we can take her to public places again. My CC LOVES visiting Lori and her family! She hops right into my car when I mention we are heading over for a babysitting stay. I am eternally grateful for Lori and how its made a positive impact on our lives, and especially, our CC girl's life. She did the impossible, after we were turned away by other trainers and boot camps. I highly recommend her training programs and boarding care.

Lori and her family are wonderful! We had a newly adopted dog that struggled with insecurity and structure. 4 weeks with Lori and he came back to us a confident, obedient and happy dog. He has good manners and listens to his commands thanks to the dedication and hard work Lori put in. We don't trust our animals with just anyone so it's huge we trusted Lori. She's treats all of the dogs like family. She sent us regular updates with video and pictures. It was so beneficial to have the meeting with her before we brought our dog, Jax, home. She instructed us on the commands and how to keep him consistent. I'd refer her in a heartbeat. in fact, my coworker has now take. two of her dogs there because we couldn't stop talking about how wonderful the training was. If we ever get a second dog, Lori will be the first phone call I make to get it into training. I love that Lori and I are still in contact and she checks in to see how Jax is doing!! She's truly the best.

We feel so lucky to have found Paws Learn in Paradise! Before training, our high-energy GSP puppy was wild, destructive, disobedient and behaved inappropriately on leash. Our dog, Greta, spent a few weeks with Lori and came back a whole new dog. We were SO impressed with the way Lori was able to instill obedience, response to commands, leash training.. AND.. the best part.. off-leash training. Since sending our Greta to Paws Learn in Paradise we have been able to include her on our camping trips and trust that she will respond to commands off-leash. We cannot express how much we appreciate Lori's efforts and the special experience our Greta got at Paws Learn in Paradise.
My fiancé and I travel a lot and feel comfortable leaving Greta in Lori's care. When we board our dog at Paws Learn in Paradise, we feel confident knowing that Greta is safe, happy, and enjoying playing with other dogs. Paws Learn in Paradise always sends Greta home clean and smelling nice. We really appreciate picking her up after she has had a bath.
