The process start to finish

The Booking Process

The first step is your free phone consultation. This takes as long as we need to figure out what program works best for your dog. If and when you feel ready we pick the dates. We then send a personalized contract and request a copy of vaccines.

The Drop off

Your dog will come to live with us on our spacious 5-acre property, where we provide the consistency they need to flourish. We implement clear rules and effective communication, ensuring your pet thrives in a structured environment. Embracing farm life and various other environments is essential, which is why we take regular trips around sunny San Diego twice a week. Your dog will enjoy a well-rounded experience while feeling loved and supported.

The Pick up

Our goal is to empower dog owners to cultivate not just obedience but a fulfilling relationship. During our one-on-one go-home session, we will review everything your dog has learned, command skills, leash manners, and house etiquette, off leash, etc.. This essential step ensures you're set up for success as you transition from our home training environment to your home, making the process seamless and effective.

Daily Schedule

We offer the # 1 Board and Train experience here in the beautiful country-side of Valley Center, CA. As dog owners and trainers, we understand how stressful it can be to part ways with our pups and here at Paws learn in Paradise we cater to your dog like we do our own and make sure they are as comfortable as can be.

Paws learn in Paradise offers superior convenience in our home-based facility as well as the quality of our staff and amenities. Unless otherwise instructed, all dogs being boarded will participate in group daycare activities at no additional cost, allowing them to play and socialize indoors and/or outdoors with the whole gang.

What Our Day Looks Like: Each morning we wake up at 6 am and let the pups out for their first potty/playtime break, about an hour after that we come back in for breakfast and let the pups digest for an hour before going back outside to enjoy the day playing with their new friends. Around 6 pm we will call everyone in for dinner and they rest for another hour before being let back out for the evening playtime. We usually tuck everyone in around 8-830pm. If for any reason a pup needs out to go potty in the middle of the night, we are always here to let them out just like we would one of our own. All dogs sleep in our home in a comfortable crate with a bed and blanket. This also where they will eat. We are very structured here to ensure everyone's safety! There is always fresh water available and even pool time! Please bring an airtight container of your dog's own food, we feed exactly what you would feed at home to avoid tummy issues!

We don't always introduce dogs to the group right away, you never want to push a dog to fast to soon, the boarding experience should always be a positive one, so we always run off what the dogs saying! Sometimes slow introductions are best. We know exactly who to introduce first and at the right time.  If your dog is not friendly with other dogs, we have separate yards to accommodate their individual stimulation and playtime. Throughout the day each dog is pulled out multiple times for individual training sessions as well as group training sessions. Once we have a strong foundation of obedience we start taking our public trips. This part is crucial for training, we hear a lot of people say "I sent my dog to camp, they have great obedience but are still reactive."etc.. That's because we need to work with them in the actual situations you're struggling with.

Day Of Go Home: Unfortunately, we don't get to keep your dog's forever, but we do want you to take home a clean and fresh pup. Paws learn in Paradise has always offered a free go-home bath on the day of pick-up.
